  8. Self-Test:  You can run a rather complete test of the control logic by
  9. the built-in "semi-self-test", a series of 56 routines.  To run this,
  10. turn the unit on whilst holding the AM and T-F SET switches pushed in.
  11. It changes to the next test when you turn the VFO knob clockwise.  Turn
  12. the power OFF to reset the unit.

  23.      7          next position -8 lighted
  24.      8          next position 8. and STEP lighted
  25.      9          next position 8. and * lighted
  26.     10          next position 8. and SPLIT lighted
  27.     11          next position 8. and B lighted
  28.     12          next position 8. and VFO lighted
  29.     13          next position 8. and A lighted
  30.     14          next position 8. and SCAN lighted
  31.     15          next position 8. lighted
  32.     16          leftmost position 8 and M.CH lighted

  40. The following tests change internal signals.  They are most useful if
  41. you are trying to trace the circuits controlled by these signals.

  43. sense of these.
